A new book and a new class.

You know, it's difficult to find something relevant to blog about this time of year (all the ren fests around me are almost a year away, and I wont be able to attend even then *cries*). So, I thought I'd post on a related topic...though distantly. Mum bought me a book today on the Middle Ages in England! Oh the Happiness!! ^_^

Yes, that's the good news, I have another book which I can't possibly fit on my already overstuffed shelves so will have to join the floor piles. Now, the bad news is that this new class I'm in on early Western Civ (something which can usually excite to no end) is turning out to be elementary level :'( Does a college class really need the word "monarchy" explained? It's freaking me out, it really is.

One of the best times of my life was spent at one glorious ren faire some miles from my home when I was in 5th grade. Now since, I've been yearning for more. Well, I haven't been to one yet and it's just not right! I've sworn to aquaint myself with the proper stuff so I might have the best of it when next I go. I am a history buff of course, Anglo-Saxon Studies to be precise.

    Sláinte!
